Quick wallpaper update

Canonical

on 17 August 2011

This article is more than 13 years old.

Just a quick update for those of you who are interested. As we speak the contributors whose images were selected for the last release of Ubuntu are sifting through the many many images submitted for the Oneiric release in October. You can take a sneaky peek at the shortlist in this Flickr group, there are some great entries – although Jane, Canonical’s CEO, and I have both noticed that none of our entries are in there so they must still be choosing 😉

As they choose the images I’ll be contacting the people who’ve taken the photos to get the high resolution images, resize them and make sure they’re packaged to get into the release before UI Freeze on the 25th! Simple eh?

More when we have a final selection and it’s in the release!
