This privacy notice tells you about the information collected from you when you register for an Ubuntu Community Discourse account. Ubuntu Community Discourse is a forum where Ubuntu contributors can coordinate their contributions to Ubuntu and closely related products. When you register an Ubuntu Community Discourse account, we ask you for your name and your email address and related information. We may also record your IP address in order to provide you with certain content or aspects of the service.
Why do we collect this information?
Your information will be used by us for the provision of services in the creation of an Ubuntu Community Discourse account. The Ubuntu Community Discourse account is then used to access the Ubuntu Community Discourse forum.
What do we do with your information?
Your information is stored in our database and may be processed outside of the European Economic Area. It is shared with the third parties only as reasonably required for Canonical to process and store your data in accordance with this notice, or to provide you with access to third party content and/or services.
